"What a plonker"

When Rodney Trotters mother dies it is down to his elder brother Market trader Derek (Del) to look after him and there Grandfather. This is how, in 1981 One of Britain's longest running and best loved comedies began. With a combination of superb charters, excellent gags and hilarious situations, writer John Sullivan's master piece will be looked upon as one of the best sitcoms for many years to come. One of the few comedies with a Start, a middle and an end is properly the most overlooked by International audiences. With first class performances by David Jason as Del boy, Nicholas Lyndhurst as Rodney, Leonard Pearce as Granddad,  Buster Merryfield as Uncle Albert, John Challis as Boycie and  Roger Lloyd Pack as Trigger, this show could not come any more highly recommended by me.

As I a lot of our readers are from outside the UK, I say to you, MISS THIS AT YOUR PERIL!!!
